Joe Smith, ATC, LAT

Joe Smith is a BOC-certified and Illinois-licensed athletic trainer with over 12 years of experience in orthopedic care. He began his career working with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes before joining Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) in 2016. In July 2023, Joe became a valued member of Dr. Ehmke’s team at Hinsdale. He plays an integral role in supporting patient care both in the clinic, working directly alongside Dr. Ehmke, and through ongoing communication with patients via calls and messages. Joe is known for his clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and commitment to delivering exceptional care throughout the entire patient experience.
